Alex's Birthday

Where do the years go? It feels like just yesterday that my baby girl was born. Today is her 2nd birthday already. We celebrated yesterday by having her grandparents, and some of her aunts, uncles, and cousins over for a small party. We cooked out on the grill and enjoyed the evening outside. She is really into Veggie tales right now, so we decided to do a Veggie tales theme. I decided to try my hand at cake decorating by making a Bob and Larry cake. My sister-in-law Susan came over Saturday to help me. It actually turned out very well (much to my suprsise) and Alex was beside herself when she saw it. She loved having everyone sing to her and blowing out her "2" candle. After cake and ice cream, she opened presents. She got a ton of really cool things including a kitchen, big wheels, slide, Elmo Live, toys, books, clothes, and a sandbox. Now the fun part is finding where to put it all! We had a great time with family celebrating this very special day. Our little girl is growing up so fast!
