Memorial Day at the Lake

We spent our Memorial Day weekend at Lake Anna. Alex and I went down with my parents and Rob and Susan Friday night. Justin came down Saturday evening after he got off work. We had gorgeous weather-perfect for enjoying some time on the water. It was so nice to just get away and relax-no worries, no responsibilities. We were able to spend our days at the water floating on the raft, kayaking, and riding the jet skis. Alex loved floating in the big raft and riding in the kayaks. She really wanted to ride a jet ski but unfortunately she is too little yet. She did get a chance to sit on one though for a picture. She even tried her hand at fishing and caught 3 fish-one of which was a pretty big catfish. She tried getting in the water to swim on Saturday but it was a little cold, so she wasn't a fan.
Bowling on the Wii!

Enjoying a good book Love the hat! The Wii Fit Didn't look very comfortable but he must have been. Relaxing and enjoying the warm sun. Enjoying her first kayak ride-after riding with daddy in the blue one,
she had to try the yellow one too. Her big catch-a catfish! She kept talking about how cute it was.
We all thought it was pretty ugly but she didn't agree. Taking a walk at the park before going for ice cream Her first fishing experience-she loved it. "Come on little fishies" she kept saying "Super Baby"
